Homemade Teeth Whitener Review

Bleaching teeth can be quite a hassle. When it is to be availed with the local dentist, traveling there and getting in line can take a whole lot of time. Once the bleaching job has been done, the bill can reach from hundreds to over a thousand dollars. Due to the inconvenience and high costs that come with whitening teeth, it is only natural for people to just take the more convenient and less expensive route by making his or her homemade teeth whitener and then use it anytime. The good news is that the homemade whitener can be made rather easily and it comes with many easy solutions.

To make a homemade teeth whitener, one must have just two important ingredients - the hydrogen peroxide and the baking soda. Both ingredients, which are sold cheaply at the local grocery store or at the pharmacy, can be used specifically by having a bowl with a pinch of baking soda in it, and then mixing it with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. After mixing it well, it will become a teeth whitening substance and it can be used immediately. While the homemade substance indeed has whitening elements, the effects and time required will vary depending on the person's oral history as there are those whose teeth got colored due to smoking and/or consumption, while colored teeth is something genetically inherited. It is important to keep in mind that the homemade whitener has bleaching effects, it does not have any cleaning benefits (something which fluoride has). As such, it is recommended to clean the teeth first with the regular toothpaste (which most likely has fluoride) and then use the teeth whitener for the bleaching.

The homemade teeth whitener can actually be combined with other products that are made to bleach teeth such as certain toothpastes that already have strong bleaching ingredients in their formula. There is a need to be cautious, however, as an excessive amount of hydrogen peroxide can make the teeth and gums more sensitive. As such, it is best to read the labels. The homemade substance can work with other home-based whiteners such as strawberries as these contain malic acid that will help loosen dental stains. To do this, a strawberry needs to be crushed and spread all over the teeth before using the homemade whitening substance. With these at hand, whitening teeth need not be expensive or inconvenient. It will come down as to how the results turn out and how much time is used.
